Welcome to Pet shop PIRO, the Belgian specialist in animal housing. For over 20 years we have been helping individuals choose the right shelter for their animals.

Our history

Pet shop PIRO was founded in 2002 in Zingem, East Flanders, Belgium, by a father with a lifelong passion for animals. From chickens and ornamental ducks to cranes, pheasants, deer, capybaras, ostriches, kookaburras, rheas and spoonbills — the family estate was a true mini Pairi Daiza. This unique experience with the most diverse animal species formed the foundation for expert advice on animal housing. What started as a small pet shop has grown over the years into a specialised webshop with a wide range of chicken coops, rabbit hutches, dog houses and aviaries. Today, from our showroom in Ooigem, we combine the advantages of online shopping with personal advice on site.

Our mission

We believe every animal deserves a comfortable and safe home. That is why we only select quality products from reliable suppliers. Our coops are delivered as a convenient flat-pack kit with clear instructions, so you can get started quickly. Assembly service is available on request at an additional cost. With free delivery to Belgium and the Netherlands, we make it as easy as possible.

Our workshop & showroom

In our workshop in Ooigem we assemble the coops, check quality and carefully prepare orders for shipping. Customers are welcome in our showroom to view models in person, feel the woodwork and get advice. This way you can make an informed choice before ordering.
