The roof of the chicken coop is hinged and therefore easily accessible for cleaning, although this will hardly be necessary since this model has a plastic droppings tray.

The roof of the nesting box is of course also hinged and equipped with a plastic slat against driving rain. Black bitumen roofing is used for this chicken coop and the coop is stained with a natural brown color.

The plastic droppings tray can be fully pulled out at the front so you can take it to the compost heap for cleaning.
